The 2022 edition of the Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC) is taking place for the first time in Abu Dhabi heading to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) from March 4-6. autograph hunt, pop culture-palooza cosplay featuring, as one of the grandstand experiences, meet and greet major celebrities from the entertainment world. Among the stellar line of talents already confirmed for the show are Nathalie Emmanuel, Michael Rooker and Jon Bernthal.

Pamper yourself in a stylish new salon
Rossano Ferretti, the world renowned hair artist for celebrities and royals, has launched a luxurious new hair spa at the Abu Dhabi Edition Spa. Celebrate Reading Month at Umm Al Emarat Park
Abu Dhabi’s Department of Education and Knowledge is hosting a host of activities at Umm Al Emarat Park from Friday to Sunday to celebrate Reading Month. There will be a number of topics related to reading and literature, including creative writing, bookmark design, language workshops, storytelling training and public speaking, as well as puppet shows. Abu Dhabi-based authors will also be present at the event to host interactive storytelling sessions. The list of activities and workshops will be regularly updated on the ADEK website and social media accounts.

Enjoy a family brunch with superheroes
The WB Hotel’s all-day restaurant, Sidekicks, recently launched a fun Saturday brunch, perfect for superhero fans of all ages. Head to the desert for an outdoor pop-up
How do you take your coffee? How about a sugar-free white dish and a side of 120,000-year-old nature-forged dune art? This is the reality presented by Fosil, a new pop-up beer garden in the newly upgraded and upgraded Al Wathba Fossil Dunes Protected Area. The dream setup comes with comfy ottomans and table enclaves scattered throughout the area; a jet-black food truck serving up treats; potted cacti and mirrored pillars offering a little extra GI fodder; and an atmospheric Arabic music background playlist.

Stroll through a new marina
Al Qana is one of Abu Dhabi’s top new destinations, and it just hit another major milestone: its Riviera-style marina is now open.
