About Chef Cheung Kwok Pong

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Chef Cheung comes from a family in which both of his parents worked in the food and beverage industry. He started his career as an apprentice at the age of 17 and acquired the essential cooking skills he possesses by working in various Cantonese restaurants. He has worked at several highly rated establishments in Hong Kong, such as Lei Garden and Yan Toh Heen at the InterContinental Hong Kong, the latter having not only been listed once as a two Michelin star establishment, but also one of the better. Prior to his appointment to Ya Ge, Chef Cheung had worked at Spring Moon of The Peninsula Hong Kong since 2011.
