On Friday, the opening hours of the Dubai Metro will be extended to allow Dubai Run participants to reach the start of their races, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Twitter.

The first trip on the Red and Green lines will take place at 3.30am.

“To ensure the arrival of participants in the #DubaiRUN race, we have extended the opening hours of #DubaiMetro in its two red and green lines on Friday, November 26, 2021, with the first trip starting at 3:30 a.m.”, said the RTA. tweeted.

To participate in the 5km run, participants must use the Dubai World Trade Center metro station, while those traveling the 10km must use the Emirates Towers metro station.

For the Dubai Run on Friday, Sheikh Zayed Road will transform into a giant running track for runners of all skill levels and abilities to continue their commitment to 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days, on the path of a lifetime. healthier and happier.

This year’s edition of the Dubai Run will take place on the last weekend of the Dubai Fitness Challenge on Sheikh Zayed Road. Determined people are welcome, while strollers are also welcome.

The 5 km and 10 km courses will take athletes on scenic routes through the heart of Dubai. The 5 km course is perfect for those new to running, as well as those with young children. The longer 10 km course is open to everyone, including recreational, amateur and professional runners who navigate the city’s highway.

With the start line located near the Museum of the Future and the finish line at Al Mustaqbal Street, both routes will pass through some of the city’s most scenic areas, including Emirates Towers, DIFC Gate Village, Burj Khalifa and Dubai World Trade Center.
