Let Sydney chefs take care of your meal preparation with this awesome new delivery service

Preparing Sunday meals can really look like one of those superhuman tasks. The kind of activity to bring your life together that you maybe committed to once or twice, maybe even every week when life wasn’t as overwhelming as it is now here in Sydney.

Well, we’ve just found a brand new meal-prep style delivery service that ticks a lot of the boxes for life in containment and beyond.

Called ChefPrep, this newly launched meal delivery platform connects you with an impressive range of local chefs and local restaurants. Basically, you can choose a great selection of delicious frozen food created by Sydney chefs and have them delivered to your door every week.

The meals are ready to be reheated and eaten, they are all very affordable, and you can also choose from different locations within a single order. ChefPrep is environmentally conscious, with everything packaged in biodegradable, eco-friendly and recyclable boxes that are freezer, oven and microwave safe. The meals are also designed to last up to six months and retain flavor, which means less food waste.

Never mind that 10km radius rule for lockdown too – ChefPrep delivers to the Sydney metro area, the Central Coast, Newcastle, Blue Mountains and Wollongong.

So yes, the meal prep is sorted without having to spoil the kitchen and you support Sydney restaurants while you do it.

Restaurants currently on the platform include David Allison’s brilliant farm-to-table STIX concept, Newtown’s legendary traditional Indian Delhi ‘O’ Delhi and charming French spot Bellevue Cottage by Antoine.

There’s yet to come Butter’s fried chicken, David Thompson’s Thai streetfood Long Chim, and Nigerian restaurant Enmore Little Lagos (which unfortunately had to close due to the ongoing lockdown, but you can get your fix via ChefPrep).

“The ChefPrep model allows our business to prepare meals at times that are convenient for us rather than in the middle of a busy shift when time and resources are limited,” says Allison of STIX. “They also have a much greater geographic reach than we can maintain on our own or provide through other food delivery platforms.”
