For this week, chef Max Wo, of Silks House, a Michelin Guide restaurant, took the popular Roasted Duck to another level by releasing Roasted Duck in Four and Five Ways! Apart from sliced duck skin with green onion, cucumber and sweet sauce in a pancake wrap, tender roasted duck legs, tasty sous-vide rice noodles in a duck bone soup, duck racks with ginger and green onions, and a crispy fried boneless duck with taro puree are at your disposal.
Silks House has also launched a new take on its signature dish, Empress Lobster Stock with King Crab Meat & Seafood. Introducing Queensland Grouper Broth with Seasonal Vegetables, where giant grouper, scallops, mushrooms and many other nutritious vegetables and fish bones are boiled together to create a sumptuous milky white broth. This luxurious broth is topped with fried rice soufflés to add texture and flavor, creating the ultimate dining experience.
Executive Dim Sum Chef Dicky Ng has created a signature Cantonese dim sum set that includes Chinese turnip paste, pork sticky rice balls, and many other popular dim sum selections. For a healthy and organic meal, Silks House has also prepared a seasonal vegetable combination where ten types of vegetables are offered on a platter. Cordyceps Abalone Chicken Soup is the perfect soup for the summer heat. This nutritious soup includes premium abalone, local Hualien chicken, cordyceps flowers, jujube, and many other healthy ingredients.
Robin’s Teppanyaki, a Michelin Guide restaurant, has launched a series of new dishes prepared by Executive Chef James Chen. Wagyu A5 Japanese Steak and Lobster Set (for two) uses the pinnacle of the steak world, Japanese Wagyu Beef, served with truffle abalone, specialty salad, soup and signature teppanyaki fried rice. This gourmet set is also available with many other beef options – filet mignon, rib eye and sirloin.
In addition to all the new savory selection, Regent Taipei Executive Pastry Chef Nicolas Pelloie has created a Swiss roll with a creamy soufflé. A soft and airy sponge cake accompanied by an airy and soft cream and other carefully selected ingredients. The finished topping creates the ultimate refreshing and sweet dessert to savor.
