Two Northumberland villages named among UK’s best places to go in autumn

This is another accolade for two of the North East’s prettiest villages, chosen from the best places in the UK to have a comfortable ‘stay’ this autumn.

Bamburgh and Alnmouth in Northumberland are no strangers to being selected as the top UK destinations for holidaymakers.

And it was only recently that the two were featured in the BBC’s “Villages By The Sea” series in which archaeologist Ben Robinson recounted the stories of coastal villages that have been “on the front lines of history.” .
